0260 Dynafit Headquarters

The new Dynafit headquarters is not a house, but an ascent to heaven. The way is the goal - inside, too, space-forming, open stairs are staggered up to the climax of the facility, the bouldering hall, which can be seen from afar. The dynamic of ascent is used figuratively, tectonically, spatially, and organizationally. The result is not only a spectacular and sculptural building - but also a very special working atmosphere: open, dynamic - facing upwards. The mountain experience in a built form - yet completely rational and technologically mature like a Dynafit shoe: progressive forward flex - easy to handle.
At the dramatic staircase and ramp, all uses interlock, but also inside and outside, the landscape and the building, sport, and work. The stairs are a short way to the other department as well as the workplace, meeting room, lecture hall, training device, or showroom. The formal offices are oriented and expand on a tilted informal level - which ultimately leads outside, into nature, the surrounding mountains.
The architecture is spatially and atmospherically spectacular but also rational and reserved. It should form a permanent background for changing fashions, cheerful colors, and colorful furniture. Crystalline and mineral, like the mountains: white-colored, raw exposed concrete, polished screeds that remain visible, calcium silicate insulation, white glasses. Technical and durable like mountain equipment: silver vaporized sun protection curtains, silver anodized aluminum, white-coated steel.
The surrounding wide Inn valley - with the wide river and the wide sweep of the motorway, with its fields and wooded areas - and the surrounding mountain peaks will be mirrored and elevated by the new building. A typical pre-Alpine landscape could emerge between the Dynafit headquarters and the motorway - with a small lake and gnarled pines and rocks.
