The task was to refresh the existing foyer from the 80ies without changing or spending much. The concept developed by Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design achieves these conditions through minimal but effective interventions. The existing mirrors are covered with a dotted pattern, parts of the wall are wallpapered, the carpet is changed and a new lighting concept - incorporating a huge neon sign - is installed. The old-fashioned mood of the theatre is transformed into a contemporary urban meeting place.
